Contrast Ratio

Contrast ratio is a measurement of the difference in luminance between two colors, typically text and its background. It’s expressed as a ratio (e.g., 4.5:1) and plays a critical role in accessibility. Higher contrast ratios improve readability for all users, particularly those with visual impairments, and are required to meet WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.
