Wireframe

A wireframe is a low-fidelity visual layout that outlines the structure, content, and functionality of a digital interface—without the distraction of styling or branding. Wireframes are used early in the design process to map out information hierarchy, navigation patterns, user flows, and key elements on each screen or page.

They help teams focus on usability and logic before investing time in visual design. Wireframes can be static (like sketches or grayscale mockups) or interactive, and they often serve as the blueprint for both prototyping and development.
